HOW IT WORKS

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to book a maternity session?
I recommend contacting me during your second trimester and planning the session for when you're around 32-36 weeks along. During this time, you will still have a beautiful bump for your photos, but won't be too uncomfortable to get around yet.

Do your maternity sessions take place outdoors or in studio?
It's your choice! Some moms to be love being able to be outside in the fresh air, others prefer the comfort of the studio. Whatever will work best for you.

What if we planned an outdoor session and the weather doesn't cooperate?
If the weather doesn't look like it will be good for our session, I will reach out to you to reschedule. Moving to the studio is also an option, however if your heart is set on being outside, we will find another day that works!

I don't know what to wear, do you have recommendations?
Absolutely! This is the core of our design consultation together. If you don't already have a vision for how you'd like the session to look, I will help get the creative juices flowing with Pinterest boards, color palette inspiration, and even links for what to order. I want you and you to look and feel your best the day of the session.

I want an outdoor session but I don't know where to go. Do you have recommendations?
I sure do! On top of the more common spots in Buffalo, I've also done a good amount of location scouting to help achieve the look you're dreaming of in your images.

Do your sessions include family and sibling photos?
Absolutely! This will be a big change for the whole family so any spouses and other children are more than welcome to attend the session.

Where is your studio located?
The address of my studio is 21 Elm St., East Aurora, NY 14052.
