I was so honored and excited when Amanda and Dave asked me to photograph their maternity photos for them. Maternity sessions, especially for a first child are always so beautiful because they are the family's first ever photographs as a family of three.

They chose the Burchfield Nature Preserve in Buffalo, NY as the location for their session and the flowers were just on the verge of blooming. It turned out to be a sunny, 65 degree morning and we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect for their special session! The Burchfield is very versatile and exciting in the springtime as a background for photos. We got all types of pretty backgrounds, from red wooden fences to gazebos, the waterfront of the stream, trees and wheatgrass. 

I've since photographed Dave, Amanda and baby Jackson, as well as their extended family on several occasions and have loved every moment of watching them grow together!
